is a small rural school about 5 miles from Launceston in Cornwall.

Our School Day
The school gates open at 8:30 am with the bell ringing at 8:40am for children to go into class and begin learning at 8:45am
Morning Break is from 10:40am - 10:55am and lunch from 12:00 - 12:45pm
All children then Read for Pleasure till 1:00pm
The afternoon session runs till 3:10pm for EYFS and KS1 pupils and till
3:15pm for KS2.
EYFS/KS1 also have a 15 minute break in the afternoon.
After school clubs also run every day ending at 4:15pm except Film Club on Friday which ends at 5:00-5:15pm.

Our Motto
'Living ,Learning, Laughing Together' signals our ambition to make our school a place where all its members work, learn and play hard as a team.
We are an LA [Cornwall Council] maintained school and work closely with our 'feeder' secondary schools, Launceston and Callington Colleges to ensure Trekenner pupils are fully prepared for the next stage of their learning journeys.
Most of the pupils' families live in Lezant Parish, a community of scattered villages, hamlets and farmsteads bordered five miles from Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall. We also have a significant number of families who travel from Launceston and Callington each day to take advantage of our small classes, family atmosphere and teaching that makes the most of our fantastic setting to enable great academic achievement alongside strong personal development.
Our community is important to us and we maintain a strong bond between the school and the local villages and towns and with our partner school - South Petherwin, as the Launceston Rural Learning Trust.
